Robbin Butler

Owner/Trainer

Behind the continuous success of our dog training facility is Robbin Butler, our owner and chief dog trainer. She is a professional dog obedience trainer and an animal control officer (ACO) with a lifelong love of animals. Her passion for taking care of pets is evident in her work. In fact, you will often hear her clients say, “Wow, all dogs like Robbin!”

 

For more than 30 years, Robbin has owned and trained her own dogs, and for many of those years, she has managed a multi-dog household. Her formal training and expertise are products of attending CATCH Canine Trainers Academy, apprenticing at a local dog school, and volunteering at a local shelter.

Robbin's Training Style

  • Professes a strong respect and love for dogs and establishes trusting relationships in training

  • Clearly understands dog behaviors and motivations; crafts relevant and applicable training techniques for each unique case

  • Demonstrates flexibility and creativity in responding to a variety of changing and unexpected situations, providing the best training methods in even the most difficult situations

  • Knows important positive reinforcements that adhere to humane dog training practices while obtaining optimal results

  • Recognizes dog body language and temperament and responds appropriately to every dog in each circumstance; ensures dog safety and happiness while improving behavior
